Basketball Game Preview: Ocosta Wildcats vs. Tenino Beavers

Having just played yesterday, the Ocosta Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Tenino Beavers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Monday, Ocosta took a blow against North Mason, falling 71-42. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Tenino was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 75-43 loss at the hands of Tumwater. The Beavers were down 60-36 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

This is the second loss in a row for Ocosta and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Tenino, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Ocosta came up short against Tenino in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 53-47. Can Ocosta avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
