The Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers won against the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars on Monday with 43 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. Archbishop Spalding came out on top against Our Lady of Mount Carmel by a score of 43-35. The win was nothing new for Archbishop Spalding as they're now sitting on three straight.
Archbishop Spalding's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eden Berry, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Whitley Watkins was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.
The win got Archbishop Spalding back to even at 3-3. As for Our Lady of Mount Carmel, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Mercy the next time they take the court. Our Lady of Mount Carmel will host Mercy at 5:15 p.m. on Friday, while Archbishop Spalding will head out to face them at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
