For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Montezuma-Cortez and Del Norte meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 10-0 victory. Considering Montezuma-Cortez have won five matches by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Del Norte from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Mia Glazner led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Montezuma-Cortez has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-1-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those eight contests. As for Del Norte, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Coming up, Montezuma-Cortez will be playing in front of their home fans against Grand Junction Central at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Montezuma-Cortez's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Grand Junction Central have been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road. As for Del Norte, they will head out to challenge Pagosa Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
