Basketball Game Preview: Florence Buffaloes vs. Llano Yellowjackets

Florence is on a three-game streak of home losses, Llano a nine-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Florence Buffaloes will welcome the Llano Yellowjackets at 7:25 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Friday, Florence took a blow against Brady, falling 52-23.

Meanwhile, Llano came up short against Ingram Moore on Friday and fell 48-37. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1525th, while the Warriors are ranked 707th).

Florence will need focus on slowing down Jaxon Johnson, one of several Llano players who made an impact when they last played. He posted nine points. Johnson is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Carl Schutte, who had seven points.

Llano's loss dropped their record down to 1-28. As for Florence, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.
