Soccer Recap: Springfield Southeast Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Springfield Southeast was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against the Glenwood Titans, falling 9-0. If Springfield Southeast were looking for revenge after losing 8-0 to Glenwood when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Springfield Southeast's loss dropped their record down to 3-12-2. As for Glenwood, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springfield Southeast will host Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glenwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against MacArthur at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Glenwood will be up against MacArthur's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.63 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
