Basketball Recap: Montgomery County Takes a Loss

Montgomery County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 51-26 to the Citizens Christian Academy Patriots. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-24 two weeks ago.

Montgomery County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Citizens Christian Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montgomery County will host Hawkinsville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Citizens Christian Academy, they will square off against First Preparatory Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
