Baseball Recap: Mansfield Christian Comes Up Short

Mansfield Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-1 to the Lucas Cubs. That's two games in a row now that the Flames have lost by exactly 12 runs.

Mansfield Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landan Bishop, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base was Bishop's first of the season.

Mansfield Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Lucas, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Mansfield Christian will face off against Vanlue at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lucas, they will challenge Plymouth at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
