Elgin stacked a 15th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Midwest City Bombers with a sharp 12-4 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what Elgin needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.
Ritson Meyer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Meyer was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a stolen base and an RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in the last six games he's played.
