Volleyball Recap: Avalon Comes Up Short

Avalon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Trinity Classical Academy Knights. The Lancers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Avalon couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Trinity Classical Academy a tough time in the second set. The final score came out to 25-22, 31-29, 25-18.

Avalon's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Trinity Classical Academy, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Knights beat Avalon by a score of 3-0 later that day.
