Volleyball Recap: Oviedo Comes Up Short

Oviedo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Southwest Eagles.

While Oviedo ultimately came up short, they really made Southwest work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-15, 25-15.

Oviedo's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Southwest, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Oviedo has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Creekside on the 3rd. As for Southwest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Cardinal Gibbons on the 4th.
