Basketball Recap: Manhattan Village Academy Takes a Loss

Manhattan Village Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were outmatched by East Side Community and fell 64-20. While losing is never fun, the Silver Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 649th, while East Side Community are ranked 238th).

Manhattan Village Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for East Side Community, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.
