Basketball Recap: Wall Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

Wall had won five straight home games and Emmet Dinger did his part to make it six on Friday. The Wall Eagles blew past the New Underwood Tigers, posting a 70-32 victory thanks in part to Dinger, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and ten rebounds. The match was his fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Teelan Kjerstad was another key player, going 8 for 12 en route to 17 points and six assists. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last ten games he's played.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ethan Enos, who posted four points.

Wall's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for New Underwood, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-5.

Wall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-58 loss against Custer on the 25th. As for New Underwood, they will head out on the road to challenge Newell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
