Auburndale put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Newman Catholic Fighting Cardinals 52-32. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Auburndale's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Myah Katzenberger, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Katzenberger is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Rose Hasenohrl was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Auburndale smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Auburndale's record now sits at 3-0. As for Newman Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Auburndale will square off against Phillips at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Newman Catholic, they will take on Abbotsford at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
