Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Mary). Everything went their way against the Ellicott Thunderhawks on Monday as they made off with an 11-3 victory. St. Mary's haven't had any issues with Ellicott recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

St. Mary's offense was hitting Ellicott from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Kylie Borg led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-8-1. As for Ellicott, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

St. Mary's didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 loss against Banning Lewis Academy on the 30th. As for Ellicott, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 6-3 win against Atlas Preparatory School on the 1st.
