Shawn Edmondson Delivers Best Performance of Season

On Friday, Burroughs got the W thanks in part to Shawn Edmondson playing the best football he has all season. Edmondson rushed for 57 yards and three touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Burroughs has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Edmondson and Burroughs will take on Roosevelt/Carnahan at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Dylan Macon Goes Supernova in Burroughs Victory

Keeping Edmondson company is Dylan Macon, a fellow Burroughs player. He rushed for 166 yards and a touchdown.

If history really does repeat itself, Macon might just drop another big game when he faces off against Roosevelt/Carnahan on Saturday. Macon rushed for 184 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 34 receiving yards the last time he and the duked it out back in October of 2023.

Gould Posts Huge Game in 66-19 Victory

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Brian Gould stepped things up a notch to give MICDS the 'W'. Gould was unstoppable, picking up 44 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 37 yards and a touchdown.

MICDS has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Gould and MICDS will take on St. Dominic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Noah Menneke posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Thursday. He threw for 103 yards and two touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes.
