Softball Recap: Hanover Nighthawks vs. Fairfield Knights
Hanover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Fairfield Knights, falling 18-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-2 on April 1st.
Hanover saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mckenna Hess, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Hanover's record now sits at 2-12. As for Fairfield, they moved to 6-11 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hanover will take on rival Biglerville at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Fairfield is set to face off against their familiar foe York County Tech at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
