Soccer Game Preview: Tucker vs. Marist

The Tucker Tigers will take on the Marist War Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Tucker has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Marist will arrive with eight straight victories.

Tucker managed to keep up with Northview until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Tucker lost 5-0 to Northview.

Meanwhile, Marist kept a clean sheet against Druid Hills on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Red Devils with a sharp 7-0 win. Considering Marist have won six matches by more than six goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Marist pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those three games. As for Tucker, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
