Rosamond gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Desert Christian Knights. This was payback for the Roadrunners, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Rosamond had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-17, 25-23, 26-24.

Looking ahead, Rosamond will challenge Arvin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Desert Christian, they will square off against Immanuel Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
