Soccer Recap: Lehi Gets the Win + How To Watch

Lehi faced Layton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Pioneers who were credited with the victory. The Lehi Pioneers got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Layton Lancers' one. Emeri Thatcher had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Lehi.

The win made it two in a row for Lehi and bumps their season record up to 7-3. As for Layton, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.

Coming up, Lehi will challenge Corner Canyon at 3:30 p.m. on September 4. As for Layton, they will square off against Lone Peak at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
