Tyler Chavez put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Tuesday. He struck out three batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Chavez's strong effort led Grand Junction Central over Montrose and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
