Basketball Recap: Randall Takes a Loss

Randall was the 54-48 winner over West Plains when they last played one another back in January of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders took a 65-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 719th, while the Wolves are ranked 67th).

Randall has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 16 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season. As for West Plains, they pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Randall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 82-37 victory against Pampa on the 13th. As for West Plains, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 73-45 win against Dumas on the 13th.
