             East Jefferson waltzed into their match  on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the L.W. Higgins Hurricanes as they made off with  a  32-6 victory. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 21  points or more this season.
 The critical scores for East Jefferson came from  Paul Jones,  Jayden Obiekwe,  and  Malcolm Jones.
 East Jefferson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Donte Thompson and  Iago Henrique. Thompson also  made four  total tackles, which is notable because East Jefferson is 6-1 when he posts  at  least  four  total tackles, but 1-2 otherwise.
 East Jefferson's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 7-3. Those victories were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.7 points per game. As for L.W. Higgins,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-10.
 East Jefferson will play host again  on Friday to welcome Woodlawn-B.R., where kickoff is scheduled  at 7:00  p.m. East Jefferson's defense has only allowed 13.1  points per game  this season, so Woodlawn-B.R.'s offense will have their work cut out for them. L.W. Higgins does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
