Air Academy won the last time they faced Canon City and things went their way on Saturday too. The Kadets walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tigers.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Air Academy was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-15.

Elly Siebert paced Air Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Siebert were helped by Audrey Husemann and Jiselle Rodriquez, who contributed nine assists each. Aurelia Matzelle controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Air Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Canon City, with the loss, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 12-4.

Air Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Pueblo Centennial on the 11th. As for Canon City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Douglas County on the 11th.
