Preview: Urbana Tigers vs. Kankakee Kays
Urbana has been on the road for two straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Kankakee Kays at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Urbana will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 247th, while Kankakee is ranked 29th).
Urbana won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were dealt a 70-38 loss at the hands of Richwoods. Urbana has struggled against Richwoods recently, as their game on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Kankakee stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 81-33 victory over Brooks. Winning may never get old, but Kankakee sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Urbana now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Kankakee, their victory bumped their record up to 16-2.
