Volleyball Recap: Walthill Blujays vs. Santee Warriors

While Walthill's victory against Santee wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blujays narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Warriors 2-1. Surprisingly, this marked the Blujays' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (63-59) Walthill actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 9-25, 25-17, 25-21.

Walthill found their leader in sophomore Nicomi Frazier, who had six aces and three digs. Frazier also set a new season-high mark in assists with 16.

Walthill was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.
