Baseball Recap: Niles North Takes a Loss

Niles North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 8-2 to the Highland Park Giants. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Giants this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 on Monday.

Niles North saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Wolfinger, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Niles North's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13-1. As for Highland Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3-1 record this season.

While Niles North had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
