After a string of four wins, Lexington's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 53-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Little River Academy Bumblebees. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bumblebees earlier this season, when they won 47-45.

Lexington's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Little River Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-16 record this season.

Lexington will head out on the road to challenge Franklin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Franklin will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Lexington surely won't give up without a fight. As for Little River Academy, they will take on Rockdale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
