Baseball Recap: Pulaski County Takes a Loss

Pulaski County entered their game against Henry Clay on Sunday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Maroons fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 5-4.

Pulaski County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Henry Clay, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pulaski County will venture away from home to square off against Vero Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Maroons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season. As for Henry Clay, they will take on Treasure Coast at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
