Softball Recap: Deep Creek Drops Season-High Score on King's Fork

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Deep Creek). They put the hurt on the King's Fork Bulldogs with a sharp 19-1 win on Tuesday. The Hornets have beaten the Bulldogs the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bulldogs has come to flipping the script.

Lilly B was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, seven RBI, and three runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Hannah Liddell, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs and two stolen bases.

Deep Creek always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2024.
