Basketball Recap: Red Creek Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

While Red Creek didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Marion Black Knights by a score of 55-45 on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 39-38 on December 12th.

Red Creek's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. As for Marion, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Red Creek will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Clyde-Savannah at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Clyde-Savannah will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Red Creek surely won't give up without a fight.
