North Callaway waltzed into their game on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Versailles Tigers.

Keaton Bell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Caleb Sheets was excellent, earning two runs and two stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Coltyn O'Neal, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base.

North Callaway's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Versailles, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

North Callaway has already played their next contest, a 10-0 defeat against Fulton on the 26th. As for Versailles, they will be playing at home against Adrian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers are facing the Blackhawks at the right time seeing as the Blackhawks are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
