            Softball Recap: Oasis Sharks vs. East Lee County Jaguars        
        
		
        
        
            Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Oasis). They never let the East Lee County Jaguars get on the board and left with  a   30-0  win  on Thursday. The Sharks haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  victory against them.

 Kyra Cavender and  Meesha Neujahr were a major factor while hitting and pitching. Throwing,  Cavender   pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Meanwhile,  Neujahr   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Furthermore,  she didn't allow a single  earned run, the first time  she has blanked an opponent since back in February. At the plate,  Cavender  got on base  in all five of her plate appearances with five  stolen bases, six  RBI,  and four  runs, while  Neujahr  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances. The dominant performance gave  Cavender a new career-high in  stolen bases.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Emma Neujahr, who  scored five  runs and  stole  Five bases. while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Audrey Doan, who  scored four  runs and  stole  Five bases. while going 3-for-4.
 Oasis  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. They are  a perfect 4-0 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Oasis now  has a winning record of 6-5. As for East Lee County, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the  loss, which was their eighth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Oasis will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Seacrest Country Day at 4:30  p.m.  on March 26th. East Lee County will also get a bit of a break before their next  match: they'll face off against South Fort Myers at 6:30  p.m.  on March 25th.
