Basketball Game Preview: Jackson North Side Indians vs. Hardin County Tigers

The Jackson North Side Indians will challenge the Hardin County Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Jackson North Side has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 20.

Last Tuesday, Jackson North Side took a blow against McNairy Central, falling 65-11. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 369th, while the Bobcats are ranked 56th).

Hardin County played in conference for the first time on Tuesday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They walked away with a 56-43 victory over Chester County.

Jackson North Side's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Hardin County, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-10.

Jackson North Side took a serious blow against Hardin County in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 61-23. Can Jackson North Side avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
