Soccer Recap: Altoona Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Central Mountain on Wednesday, Altoona came back down to earth. The Mountain Lions fell just short of the Shikellamy Braves by a score of 4-3 on Saturday. Altoona have struggled against Shikellamy recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Altoona hit Shikellamy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ava Frye, Sophia O'Dea, and Nara Harzbecker.

Altoona's loss dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Shikellamy, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Looking ahead, Altoona will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against State College at 7:30 p.m. As for Shikellamy, they will challenge Jersey Shore at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The game will give Shikellamy their first taste of in-conference action this season.
