Baseball Recap: Itasca Comes Up Short

Itasca and Riesel squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Itasca had to settle for second. They came up short against the Indians, falling 11-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wampus Cats have suffered since March 13th.

Itasca saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Daniel, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Itasca's defeat dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Riesel, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7-2.

As of now, neither Itasca nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
