Silverado benefitted from Jones in 42-36 victory
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Kingsley Jones stepped things up a notch to give Silverado the 'W'. Jones was dialed in and scored 14 points along with six rebounds and six steals. She played a big game the last time she faced Green Valley, so the team probably should've seen her coming.
Jones and Silverado will head out on the road to square off against the Dragons at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Silverado got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Dragons, probably because Jones had a solid game then too: she dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
