Volleyball Recap: Salem Falls Short Against Ranked Saline

Salem faced Saline in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Rocks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in April.

While Salem was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-6.

Salem is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6-1. As for Saline, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-3.

Salem has already played their next matchup (against Plymouth), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Saline also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Canton.
