Basketball Game Preview: Fort Wayne South Side Archers vs. Huntington North Vikings

Having just played yesterday, the Fort Wayne South Side Archers will head out on the road to face off against the Huntington North Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Fort Wayne South Side is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Fort Wayne Wayne on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Fort Wayne South Side had to suffer through an 87-52 loss at the hands of Fort Wayne Wayne. The Archers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-28.

Meanwhile, Huntington North earned a 60-52 victory over Norwell on Friday.

Huntington North's win came from a few key players Fort Wayne South Side will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ethan Zahn, who went 9-for-14 on his way to 26 points and six assists. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Dalton Husband was another key player, putting up 11 points and eight rebounds.

Fort Wayne South Side's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Huntington North, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
