Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Brunswick

Brunswick had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cleveland Heights Tigers. The Blue Devils not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 22, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-21, 25-15.

Brunswick can attribute much of their success to Alexis Must, who had ten digs and three aces. That's the most digs Must has posted over her last nine matchups.

Must wasn't the only good server: Brunswick was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive contests.

Brunswick picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-9. As for Cleveland Heights, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.

Brunswick will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Medina at 6:30 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Cleveland Heights, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Mentor on the 16th.
