Volleyball Recap: Starr's Mill Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Starr's Mill faced off against Brookstone on Thursday. The Panthers fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cougars 25-17 in the first set.

Starr's Mill actually scored more points across those three sets (59-58), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-20, 16-14.

Starr's Mill suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 4-4. As for Brookstone, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Coincidentally, Starr's Mill and Brookstone will both be playing Woodward Academy the next time they take the court. The Cougars will host the War Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
