Baseball Recap: Clovis North Falls Short of Centennial in the Playoffs

Clovis North and Centennial squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Clovis North had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Golden Hawks by a score of 7-6. The Broncos were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Hawks earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Clovis North's loss dropped their record down to 24-8. As for Centennial, they have been performing well recently as they've won 19 of their last 23 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season.

Clovis North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Centennial, they will square off against St. Joseph at 6:00 p.m. on the 31st. The Knights will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Golden Hawks surely won't give up without a fight.
