North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 74-53 to the Burncoat Patriots. One positive for the Polar Bears, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Burncoat's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cheyton Marshall, who posted 21 points. The dominant performance gave Marshall a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Jaiden Johnson, who earned 19 points.

North's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Burncoat, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North and South will meet in a classic North v. South matchup at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Burncoat, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Doherty Memorial at 6:30 p.m. Burncoat is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 69.5 points per game this season.
