Softball Recap: Eagle Point Eagles vs. Springfield Millers        
        
		
            
 In what's become a running theme this season, Eagle Point gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Springfield Millers with a sharp  13-1 win. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for Eagle Point as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
  Brylee Leonardo spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in five consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Kady Lindstrom was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Riley Jacoby, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
 Eagle Point's win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 15-8. As for Springfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.
 Eagle Point will have a chance to go back-to-back against Springfield: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 3:00  p.m.  on Monday.
