Baseball Recap: Monson Comes Up Short

Monson made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Ware, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Mustangs fell just short of the Indians by a score of 7-5 on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost seven in a row.

Monson now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Ware, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monson will welcome Southwick Regional at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ware, they will challenge Amherst-Pelham Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
