Soccer Recap: Pickens Comes Up Short

After flying high against Crescent last Tuesday, Pickens came back down to earth. The Pickens Blue Flame came up short against the Easley Green Wave on Tuesday, falling 5-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Flame in their meetings with the Green Wave: they've now lost nine in a row.

Pickens' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Easley, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-1.

Pickens wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, an 8-1 defeat against Walhalla on the 7th. As for Easley, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Woodmont on the 6th.
