Basketball Recap: Zymarion Hudson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Crisp County over Tattnall County

Crisp County was the 48-45 winner over Tattnall County when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Crisp County Cougars fell 40-31 to the Tattnall County Warriors on Friday. The game marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zymarion Hudson, who posted two points and eight boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Zakariyya Dwight, who scored nine points and eight rebounds.

Even though they lost, Crisp County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 30 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Crisp County's loss dropped their record down to 21-6. As for Tattnall County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 22-4.

As of now, neither Crisp County nor Tattnall County have any future games scheduled.
