Cole Kramer posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Taylorsville is undefeated when Kramer allows one or fewer earned runs, but 6-14 otherwise.

Kramer's effort led Taylorsville over Granger and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are 9-1 against the Lancers going back to March of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
