Baseball Recap: Moore County Beats Fayetteville for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Moore County extended their winning streak to four on Sunday, bumping their season record up to 14-15-1 in the process. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Fayetteville Tigers. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 7-6 victory on Wednesday.

As for Fayetteville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-7 record this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only 1.33 runs.

For Fayetteville's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cade Quick, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

As of now, neither Moore County nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
