Basketball Recap: Shining Light Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Shining Light Academy can now relate to. They came up short against the Woodland Baptist Christian Eagles on Friday, falling 49-23. The Knights just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

Tabitha Airo continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Woodland Baptist Christian, going 5-for-12 on her way to 18 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Airo's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points.

Shining Light Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Woodland Baptist Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-4.

As of now, neither Shining Light Academy nor Woodland Baptist Christian have any future games scheduled.
