 Jefferson County Christian proved they can win big  last Tuesday (they won by ten) but  on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hundred Hornets  and snuck past  8-6. This was payback for Jefferson County Christian, who suffered  a  17-9  defeat the last time these two teams met.
  Ben Adams made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out seven batters over  3.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Adams was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing three bases while going 3-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Robbie Henderson was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI.  Noah Kostelny was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 On Hundred's side,  Koby Shreve made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Jaxon Huggins, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI.
